Know that in a sense I’ve been there, that inevitable wakening to a fortune filled reality, one foot in front of the other pacing along as everything falls perfectly into place. You’re on top of the world and it’s a remarkable consciousness. Now take a foot and step to the side. Take a glimpse at the preceding moments in your life when not everything was parallel with this quintessential existence that consumes you. Do you like what you see? When you look ahead into your future, where these steps are taking you, are you happy with where you are headed? The question is, are you content with who you are? You can always want more, something extraordinary, something vast, dream big because without dreaming what lies ahead seems so blatantly mundane. Just be grateful for what you have and where you are, seek self-gratification every step along the way, and you will live in tranquility every single day.

It's Ultimately Up To You - Eric Douglas Statzer
Navigate your own path, let no one stand in your way. Surround yourself with people who are inspiring and uplifting. When you make a mistake, take a moment to analyze the situation, creating methods to prevail over these obstructions in the future. Your destiny lies in your determination to create it. It’s up to you how adamant you are about achieving a certain goal or reaching a desired status, and very rarely are these handed to you on a silver platter. You must construct your own platter and stack your accomplishments yourself. Rely on no one but yourself and you will become a self-sufficient, determined achiever, you will gain magnitudes of respect, and will learn to believe that you are the sculptor of your own fate.

The Hardest Thing I've Ever Had to Do - Eric Douglas Statzer
What makes my heart twist and turn while it’s sinking, sulking, enduring this burn? I’ll not resist the power of what makes this love earn. Give me something let me understand, I’ve been digging myself out of this quicksand, each touch I desire the longer you withstand. Your affection’s in a glass filled, about to tip and you stand there biting your fucking lip, I’m parched and you know that I just need a sip. Give me something, turn me inside out, my heart, my mind, my soul, they shout. Let me get in, just take a chance, I’m dying for more than this meaningless dance. You’re staring me down, defenseless, such a sad song, tip your glass over and show me you’ve been wrong. Your tears spilt, floor full of guilt, all that I have built, wasted away to wilt. I’m all in taking the biggest bet that I’ll let you go first, so damn hard to forget. You’ll be without me and soon you’ll regret, rolling over me like a summer sunset.
